In a recent conversation with vlogger Tayo Aina, renowned Nigerian singer David Adeleke, also known as Davido, shared the story of how his wife, Chioma Rowland, initially turned down his romantic gestures.

Davido recounted their first encounter during their time as students at Babcock University in Osun State. According to him, it was love at first sight, and he was immediately captivated by Chioma.

In his excitement, he instructed one of his aides to approach her, but Chioma declined the invitation.

Recalling the moment, Davido said, “I was in a Prado, and I looked behind and I saw this girl walking. Just there with her bag, it was Chioma.

I told Lati, ‘I like that girl, go and call her for me.’ He called her, but she didn’t respond to me at that time.”
