The Kano State Police Command has apprehended three individuals suspected of engaging in ATM card-swapping fraud and has successfully recovered 36 cards from different banks.

The arrest was made following a report received by the police from a resident who fell victim to the deceitful card swap at a bank.

In response, a team of detectives swiftly took action and detained the three suspects: Mu’azzam Sabo, aged 25, from Yakasai Quarters; Auwal Nasiru, aged 27, from Tudun Maliki Quarters; and Auwal Sueiman, aged 25, from Medile Hamdala Quarters in Kano.

The recovered cards are now in police custody, and the case is currently under investigation.
