AGS NEWS – Two men have been found guilty on all charges in the 2022 killing of rapper PnB Rock.
Freddie Trone, 42, was convicted of murder, robbery, and conspiracy for orchestrating the robbery that led to the death of PnB Rock, whose real name was Rakim Allen.
The incident occurred on September 12, 2022, at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in Los Angeles. Trone’s 17-year-old son was sent to rob the rapper, and Trone acted as the getaway driver.
During the trial, Trone’s defense argued that he was unaware of his son’s intentions and was at Roscoe’s to promote his beauty supply shop.
The jury dismissed this claim, highlighting a six-minute period in which Trone allegedly armed his son.
PnB Rock’s fiancée, Stephanie Sibounheuang, was initially accused of leading the shooter to their location through a social media post, but the jury found no connection.

Sibounheuang testified about PnB Rock’s attempts to protect her during the attack.
Trone maintained his innocence, and his lawyer argued that the case against him was weak. However, the jury convicted both defendants.
PnB Rock was shot once in the chest and twice in the back by an assailant in a ski mask who demanded his jewelry and threatened to kill his girlfriend.
The Philadelphia-born artist, known for his hit single “Selfish” and collaborations like Ed Sheeran’s “Cross Me,” was having lunch with his girlfriend when the attack occurred. His death sent shockwaves through the hip-hop community.
