Nollywood actor-turned-pastor, Yul Edochie, has responded to critics following his inaccurate prediction regarding the outcome of the AFCON 2023 final.

Yul had previously forecasted on his Instagram page that the Nigerian Super Eagles would emerge victorious over Ivory Coast in the final match.

However, the Super Eagles faced a 2-1 defeat against Ivory Coast, prompting disappointment among Nigerians on social media who labeled Yul’s prophecy as false.

In response to the backlash, Yul took to his social media platform again, expressing gratitude to the Super Eagles and acknowledging their journey to the finals.

He emphasized that reaching the finals itself is a significant achievement and expressed pride in the team’s performance throughout the tournament.
