“Bring them out, dead or alive” – Wike places N20m bounty on two wanted Abuja kidnappers

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, has announced a bounty of N20 million for the capture of two notorious kidnappers, Dahiru Adamu and Abu Ibrahim, who have been wreaking havoc in the nation’s capital.

They are also implicated in the murder of a district head in Abuja and numerous kidnappings in Kabusa, Kutu, and surrounding villages within the FCT.

AGS NEWS reports that Wike made the announcement during a meeting with FCT Commissioner of Police, Bennett Igweh, at the FCT Police Command Headquarters in Garki, Abuja.

The meeting coincided with the parade of 23 criminal suspects, including seven members of Dahiru and Abu’s kidnapping gang, who were apprehended by a combined team of law enforcement operatives.

Expressing determination to eradicate criminal activities, Wike emphasized that his administration would leave no stone unturned in bringing perpetrators to justice.

He urged the public to assist in capturing the wanted suspects, offering the substantial reward of N20 million for their apprehension, whether dead or alive.

Commissioner Igweh provided details of the arrests, stating that the seven apprehended suspects were nabbed in Pyankasa, Tudun Wada, and Ketti village, following credible intelligence.
