Bandits have kidnapped 30 villagers in Unguwar Liman, Gwada community located in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The intrusion occurred on Sunday night, December 10, 2023, at approximately 11 pm, with the assailants firing shots indiscriminately.

According to information obtained by Daily Trust from residents, the victims comprise housewives and children below the age of 2.
Malam Jafar Anaba, a resident and community leader, disclosed on Monday night that his biological brother and other relatives were among those abducted.
Anaba stated that the families of the victims have not been contacted by the abductors.
Describing the incident, he said, “They (bandits) came into the community and took away their victims, about 30 of them.

Residents attempted to seek assistance on the night of the attack and the following morning, but telecommunication networks were unavailable at that time.
