In a recent operation in the northeastern region of Nigeria, the troops from ‘Operation Hadin Kai’ successfully eliminated six Boko Haram terrorists.
This operation took place during a patrol conducted by the troops in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and HYBRID forces on September 7, 2023.
The operation was carried out at Garin Ba’aba, situated in the Bama Local Government Area of Borno State, which is known for its proximity to the Sambisa Forest.

As the troops approached the village within the Sambisa Forest, they encountered the terrorists’ surveillance team referred to as the “Murabitun.”
Swiftly, four of these terrorists were neutralized by the troops. However, the remaining Boko Haram members responded with cries of “Allahu Akhbar” and opened fire from their positions.
In the ensuing firefight, two more terrorists were taken down, while the rest managed to escape. This operation demonstrated the commitment and effectiveness of the security forces in tackling the ongoing insurgency in the region.
