The funeral proceedings for the late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya commenced on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Fountain of Life Church headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos State.

The funeral service, which began at 11 a.m., witnessed a substantial turnout of mourners, including notable dignitaries like Dolapo Osinbajo, the wife of the former Vice President; Pastor Paul Adefarasin; Bishop Stephen Adegbite; Rev. Sam Adeyemi; and Peterson Okopi.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, who passed away at the age of 67 on August 7 in the United States of America, was honored with a burial at the Ikoyi Cemetery following the funeral service.

His final resting place was beside his first wife, Bimbo, who tragically lost her life in the Sosoliso plane crash of 2005.

The late Pastor Odukoya was renowned as the founder and senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, a megachurch with a widespread presence across Nigeria.

Beyond his religious leadership, he was a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist, earning respect and recognition in the Nigerian Christian community. His demise represents a significant loss to both the church and the nation.
