Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the Governor of Ondo State, has expressed his eagerness to resume his official duties while awaiting medical advice from his doctors.
In a statement issued by the state’s Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Akeredolu mentioned that prayers and well wishes for his recovery have been uplifting.
He expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the people of the state, his team members, party leaders, fellow governors, and members of the State House of Assembly.
However, various workers’ unions and employees emphasized the importance of the governor ensuring a complete recovery before returning to work.
They acknowledged his progress and thanked God for his healing, urging him to prioritize rest and recuperation.
The workers assured their support and prayers for the governor’s well-being, recognizing his dedicated service to the state.
