Through this campaign, a meal is donated to a child in need for each Mastercard transaction made on the Glovo app in Nigeria and Kenya.

Mastercard’s Country Manager for West Africa, Folasade Femi-Lawal, emphasized the initiative’s focus on addressing child hunger and supporting education. “This program allows students to focus on learning without hunger as a barrier,” she said.

Glovo’s General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Diego Nouet, and Lagos Food Bank Initiative’s founder, Michael Sunbola, expressed pride in the collaboration, highlighting the impact of reliable meals on children’s education and future opportunities.
