AGS NEWS – The US Justice Department has informed a federal judge that it is considering recommending the breakup of parts of Google’s operations to address the company’s monopoly in the online search market.
According to Bloomberg, this move could lead to a historic antitrust action against the tech giant.

In a court filing on Tuesday, antitrust officials suggested that Judge Amit Mehta might also require Google’s parent company, Alphabet Inc., to provide access to the data it uses to produce search results and develop artificial intelligence products.
