Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has announced his return to action immediately after the international break.
The 25-year-old, who was injured during a 3-3 draw against Kasimpasa, confirmed in a video that he expects to be back for Galatasaray’s match against Antalyaspor on October 19.
Osimhen’s early return is welcome news for fans, who initially feared he would be out until November after being diagnosed with a muscle strain.
The injury occurred just after Osimhen scored twice in the match, forcing his substitution at halftime.
Although he was expected to miss six weeks, Osimhen confidently stated in a video that he would return “after the international break.”
His recovery is a major boost for Galatasaray, as his goal-scoring ability will be crucial in their pursuit of the Turkish Super Lig title.
Since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, Osimhen has scored two goals and provided four assists in four matches. His presence on the field will be vital as the club aims to maintain its lead in the league.
