AGS NEWS – Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Port Harcourt have arrested 33 individuals suspected of internet fraud.

The arrests took place in the Iwofe and Ogboro areas of the city during a sting operation based on credible intelligence.

The EFCC recovered several items from the suspects, including mobile phones, laptops, fake U.S. dollars, FBI and Customs stamps, airport clearance stamps, DHL and FedEx stamps, and two cars.

The suspects will face charges once investigations are completed.
