Couple dragged off flight for having sex few minutes after take-off

AGS NEWS – A couple has been charged with public indecency after being caught performing a sex act shortly after takeoff on an EasyJet flight from Tenerife to Bristol.

Bradley Smith, 22, and Antonia Sullivan, 20, both from Wales, were removed from the plane by police after passengers, including a mother and her teenage daughter, reported their inappropriate behavior.

Witnesses noticed Sullivan covering Smith’s lap with coats, and reported the couple’s “vigorous hand movements” to the flight crew.

Despite Sullivan’s claim that she was only “rubbing” her boyfriend’s leg, the authorities charged the pair.

In a hearing at Bristol Magistrates’ Court, both pleaded guilty to public indecency. Judge Lynne Matthews criticized their disregard for other passengers, noting that a child could see their actions.

Smith was sentenced to 300 hours of community service, and Sullivan to 270 hours. They were also ordered to pay £100 in compensation to each of three witnesses.

EasyJet confirmed that the flight was met by police on arrival due to the couple’s behavior.
