AGS NEWS – As Nigeria prepares to celebrate its 64th Independence Day, the Federal Government praised the country’s 25 years of continuous democracy.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, highlighted Nigeria’s resilience and growth since gaining independence, despite numerous challenges.

Speaking in Abuja, Idris lauded the nation’s progress, both in Africa and globally, and emphasized the current administration’s transformative economic reforms.
These include removing the petroleum subsidy and promoting Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) use. The Minister also noted improvements in education, security, and grassroots governance, urging unity among Nigerians as they move forward.
