The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has donated N200 million to support victims of recent floods in Borno State. The donation was announced in a statement by the NPA on Saturday.
On Friday, NPA representatives, including Executive Directors Ibrahim Umar, Vivian Edet, and Olalekan Badmus, presented the cheque to Borno State Governor in Maiduguri.

NPA Managing Director, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, expressed solidarity with the state, acknowledging the significant losses caused by the floods.
He stated that the donation, under the guidance of the Minister of Marine & Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, aims to help stabilize the affected communities.
Recent reports indicate that the floods displaced over 414,000 people and claimed 30 lives in Maiduguri.
