AGS NEWS – The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged Nigerians to ignore unofficial figures circulating on social media about the Edo governorship election, stating that they do not reflect the actual results being collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, made this clear in a statement from Abuja, warning that the fake figures are intended to cause panic.

Morka emphasized that collation is still ongoing at the ward level, with local government collation yet to start in many areas.

He reaffirmed that only INEC is authorized to declare official results and urged the public to wait for INEC’s final announcement.
