AGS NEWS – Victor Osimhen has made headlines again by removing all references to his former club Napoli from his social media profiles and showcasing his new team, Galatasaray.

As he awaits his debut with Galatasaray after the international break, Osimhen has updated his X (formerly Twitter) bio to reflect his new affiliation.

Recently, X user Pink Tony suggested Osimhen should update his bio, prompting discussions online.

Despite ongoing contract obligations with Napoli, Osimhen has erased all mentions of the club and now proudly displays Galatasaray’s colors.

His updated bio reads, “Professional football player for Galatasaray and Super Eagles of Nigeria,” with a new display picture featuring him in a Galatasaray jersey.

Osimhen’s move has sparked excitement among fans as he prepares for his debut on September 15 against Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig.

After a summer transfer saga, the Nigerian striker joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, ending a tumultuous period that saw him request a move from Napoli despite having signed a new contract in December 2023.

His relationship with Napoli soured, leading to his exclusion from pre-season and early Serie A matches.
