AGS NEWS – A 36-year-old woman named Abiola has died during a buttocks enlargement procedure at a clinic in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State. The incident reportedly occurred around 3 pm on Monday.

Abiola had left her home in Diamond Estate, Sangotedo, Ibeju Lekki, and instructed her driver to take her to the clinic for the procedure, known as a Brazilian Butt Lift.

This cosmetic surgery involves transferring fat from other parts of the body to the buttocks for a fuller shape.

Shortly after receiving an injection administered by a nurse at the clinic, Abiola lost consciousness and began struggling to breathe.

She was rushed to a hospital in Lekki Phase 1, where she was later pronounced dead.

The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the incident, with spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin stating that a suspect has been arrested and the body has been sent for an autopsy. The investigation is ongoing.
