AGS NEWS – Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, revealed on Monday that he felt “tricked” into allowing his child to undergo puberty blockers.

In a live interview with psychologist Jordan Peterson on X, Musk called the situation “evil,” expressing concerns about children being manipulated during identity crises.

Musk explained that he had unwittingly signed documents for his child, Xavier, to start puberty blockers amid the confusion of the COVID-19 pandemic, fearing Xavier might commit suicide.

This experience influenced Musk’s decision to relocate SpaceX’s headquarters from California, criticizing the state’s new law, Assembly Bill 1955, which permits schools to withhold information about a child’s sexual orientation or gender identity from their parents.

California Governor Gavin Newsom signed this bill into law on July 15, 2024.

Musk’s child, born Xavier and now named Vivian Jenna Wilson, has had a complex relationship with her father. Vivian, a twin born in 2004, attended a prestigious school in Santa Monica.

She legally changed her name and gender at 18, adopting her mother Justine’s maiden name and expressing a desire to sever ties with Musk.

Musk attributes their strained relationship to Vivian’s education at a progressive California school, stating that she has adopted extreme political views, including full communism, and views all wealthy people as evil.
