Sallah: Obasanjo visits Oluremi Tinubu

AGS NEWS – Former President Olusegun Obasanjo visited First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu on Monday to celebrate Sallah.

The visit was confirmed by the First Lady’s spokesperson, Busola Kukoyi, who posted a photo of the two leaders on her X handle. Kukoyi mentioned that Obasanjo visited to extend his greetings to the First Lady in Lagos.

She wrote, “Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, visited First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu to felicitate on the Sallah celebration on Monday, June 17.”

Recently, Obasanjo has criticized the Tinubu administration for the poor implementation of the fuel subsidy removal and the floating of the naira.

He also condemned Nigeria’s handling of the coup in the Republic of Niger.

These remarks were made in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, and during a colloquium in Abuja titled “Nigeria’s Development: Navigating the Way Out of the Current Economic Crisis and Insecurity.”
