AGS NEWS – The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board has reported the death of another pilgrim in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
In a statement released on Sunday, June 9, 2024, the Kebbi Hajj 2024 Media Team announced the passing of Abubakar Abdullahi from Gulma in Argungu Local Government Area, who died after a brief illness.

The Executive Chairman of the board, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Enabo, shared that Governor Nasir Idris expressed shock and prayed for Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
“The governor urged the immediate family, friends, and Kebbi pilgrims to accept God’s will in good faith,” he added.
Abdullahi was buried according to Islamic rites after his funeral prayer at Masjid Al-Ihram (Ka’aba) on Friday.
This follows the death of another pilgrim from the Jega Local Government Area, Tawalkatu Busare Alako, who passed away on May 27, 2024, also after a brief illness.
