AGS NEWS – A 3-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in a random attack outside a grocery store in North Olmsted, Ohio.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. on Monday, June 3, in the parking lot of a Giant Eagle store, according to local police.
The boy, Julian, and his mother, Margot Wood, were attacked by 32-year-old Bionca Ellis, who was later taken into custody.

Julian suffered stab wounds to his back and cheek, while Wood, 38, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
North Olmsted police described the attack as a “random act of violence,” noting that Ellis and the victims did not know each other.
Detective Sgt. Matt Beck explained that Ellis had obtained a kitchen knife from a nearby store before following Wood and her son to the parking lot and attacking them near their car.

North Olmsted Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones expressed her condolences, stating, “As a mother, I cannot even begin to fathom the sense of loss this family is going through. The city and I all share in your loss.”
Ellis has been charged with aggravated murder, with additional charges expected to follow.
