AGS NEWS – Chelsea are in discussions to hire Enzo Maresca, currently the head coach of Leicester City, as their new manager, according to British media reports.
Maresca, who previously served as Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City, has successfully led Leicester back to the Premier League after their relegation last year.
His coaching style has caught the attention of Chelsea’s management.

Sky Sports reported on Monday that Chelsea has requested permission from Leicester to speak directly with Maresca, who is their top candidate.
The search for a new head coach follows Chelsea’s recent departure from Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino, who managed Chelsea for just one season, guided the team to a sixth-place Premier League finish, securing a spot in the Europa Conference League.
However, they missed out on Champions League qualification and failed to win a trophy, losing the League Cup final to Liverpool and the FA Cup semi-final to Manchester City.
Other potential candidates linked to the Chelsea vacancy include Brentford’s Thomas Frank and Kieran McKenna, who led Ipswich Town to promotion.
