AGS NEWS – Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who has excelled for Napoli over the past two seasons, is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal as his top choice.
However, Arsenal’s recent focus on signing a winger may complicate their pursuit of Osimhen.
Italian journalist Valter De Maggio, speaking on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, revealed that while Osimhen prefers Arsenal, he may consider other options, including a move to the Middle East, if Arsenal does not make a bid.

De Maggio emphasized Osimhen’s preference for Arsenal over other clubs, including Chelsea, saying, “Osimhen wants the Premier League; if the offer doesn’t come, then he would consider the Arab one.”
The complexity of the transfer lies in Osimhen’s release clause, set at €130 million by Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, who is unwilling to negotiate.
This hefty sum, along with Arsenal’s shift in transfer strategy—potentially influenced by Kai Havertz’s recent performances—poses a significant challenge in securing Osimhen.
Osimhen, 25, has been a key player for Napoli, scoring 17 goals this season following a 31-goal performance the previous year.

As the transfer window unfolds, it remains uncertain whether Arsenal will adjust their priorities to bid for Osimhen or if the striker will explore other options, including Chelsea or a move to Saudi Arabia.
