AGS NEWS – The mother of two from Ugbokolo Local Government Area of Benue State was found dead three days after her family reported her missing.

She was last seen around City College of Education, Abacha Road, Mararaba, Nasarawa State, at about 3 am on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Despite efforts to find her, her whereabouts remained unknown until her sister, Ochanya Chelle, confirmed that she was found dead on Monday, May 20.

Margaret’s father, Mr. Patrick Atayi, stated that she committed suicide after falling into depression caused by her marital problems. “Margaret was a mother of two children.

She had been in depression for some time due to mistreatment by her husband,” he explained. “She went out on that fateful Friday morning at 3 am without anyone’s knowledge.

Her body was discovered late on Monday, and all evidence confirmed that she committed suicide.”

A close source confirmed the incident to Idoma Voice Newspaper, calling it very unfortunate and urging people not to suffer in silence. “Please, no one should die in silence, no matter the situation you find yourself in.
