AGS NEWS – The Nasarawa State Government has partnered with Aerthmetal and Boxmoor to form the Uke Gold Company.
This collaboration aims to explore, develop, and produce gold in the Uke community, promising economic benefits and sustainable development.
The signing ceremony took place in Lafia and included key government officials, business leaders, and community representatives.

Aerthmetal CEO Mariam Yahaya-Shiru highlighted the partnership’s potential, stating it demonstrates the strength of collaboration and aims to make Uke Gold Company a model in the mining sector.
She emphasized the project’s goal to position Nigeria as a global leader in mining through sustainability, innovation, and community engagement.
Ibrahim Abdullahi, Managing Director of Nasarawa Investment, noted that the initiative aligns with the state’s strategy to generate revenue and create jobs in the mining sector.
