Lagos government shuts down lounges, church, and businesses for noise pollution

AGS NEWS – On Thursday, May 16, the Lagos State Government temporarily shut down several businesses and a church due to noise pollution and environmental violations.

The state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources stated that the affected establishments had been repeatedly warned but failed to comply.

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) conducted an enforcement operation in the Surulere and Orile Iganmu areas.
