AGS NEWS – Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has clinched the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season accolade.

Boniface emerged as the top choice in a competition that included three other nominees: Xavi Simons, Ian Maatsen, and Maximilian Beier.

With 13 goals and three assists in the Bundesliga this season, the 23-year-old striker has been a standout performer.

He secured the monthly award four times consecutively, from August to December 2023.

Boniface’s journey to Bayer Leverkusen began last summer when he transferred from Belgian Pro League side Union St. Gilloise.
