Gold hailed the project as “undeniably the blueprint for Afrobeats,” acknowledging 2Baba’s enduring artistry and influence that continue to inspire generations of musicians.

2Baba, formerly known as 2Face, released ‘Face2Face’ on May 15, 2003, following his departure from the boy band, Plantashun Boiz.
