AGS NEWS – Tompkins High School in Texas faced a shocking revelation as Principal Melinda Stone sent out letters disowning her husband, James Stone, a teacher at the same school.
This came on the heels of his arrest for alleged involvement in child pornography. The 36-year-old husband was apprehended on 10 counts related to child pornography, some of which reportedly involved images taken on school premises.

In her correspondence with staff and parents on Monday, May 13, Principal Stone expressed deep disappointment in her husband’s actions and announced her decision to sever ties with him.
She clarified that neither she nor any other family member was implicated in his criminal activities. Stressing the seriousness of the situation, she assured cooperation with law enforcement in the ongoing investigation.
The incident stirred concerns among students, with some reconsidering their past interactions with the accused teacher.
While acknowledging the disruption caused, Principal Stone extended apologies to families affected by the disgraceful event.

According to authorities, the images in question were distributed on the dark web, and James Stone admitted to their production.
Meanwhile, the school administration informed parents that Stone would not be returning to campus, as he remains in custody at the Fort Bend County Jail pending his first court appearance scheduled for Tuesday, May 14.
