AGS NEWS – Drake’s Toronto residence has become the focus of an investigation after reports of an overnight shooting emerged.

Police cordoned off the OVO boss’ mansion on Tuesday following an incident near the property that resulted in one person sustaining serious injuries after being shot in the chest.

Authorities confirmed that the victim is not Drake and has been rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery, as reported by Toronto’s City News.

According to Toronto police, the shooting occurred around 2:09 a.m. ET in the upscale Bridle Path neighborhood.

The suspect allegedly fled the scene in a vehicle, but no descriptions of either the perpetrator or the car have been provided thus far.

Investigation into the incident is ongoing, with further inquiries underway.

While the motive behind the shooting remains unclear, it coincides with the ongoing rivalry between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, both of whom have been releasing diss tracks against each other in recent days.
