AGS NEWS – Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca has dismissed rumors of a rift with forward Kelechi Iheanacho.

Iheanacho joined Nigeria for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations against Maresca’s preferences.

Since his return in February, the 27-year-old has seen limited playing time with the Foxes.

Despite not being in Leicester City’s matchday squad for the past five games, Iheanacho’s contract with the club has less than two months remaining.

Maresca addressed the situation, stating, “I already mentioned in January, during the window, when we had some issues.

I said it was not the moment. At the end of the season, we can talk about it.”

He emphasized the need for clarification on certain matters but expressed overall contentment with the team.
