This data is intended for submission to the relevant Federal Government agency for inclusion in the nation’s Gross Domestic Product for the first quarter of 2024.

Of the movies reviewed and approved, the majority were produced in English, totaling 250 films, while the remainder were in languages such as Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, and Hindi.

Classification by viewing audience revealed that films rated ’18’, intended for mature audiences, constituted more than 50% of the total films produced.

Other classifications, including ’15’, ’12’, films requiring Parental Guidance (PG), and those classified for general viewing, followed accordingly.
