It’s noted that this salary augmentation follows previous increases for those in the Tertiary Education and Health Sectors, covering various salary structures such as the Consolidated University Academic Salary Structure (CONUASS), Consolidated Polytechnics and Colleges of Education Academic Staff Salary Structure (CONPCASS), and others.
The adjustments are set to take effect from January 1, 2024, signaling a positive development for both current civil servants and pensioners under the Defined Benefits Scheme.
Pension increases ranging from 20% to 28% have also been approved for pensioners associated with the aforementioned six consolidated salary structures, effective from the same date.
