AGS NEWS – Operatives from the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have apprehended a suspected internet fraudster, Ali Desmond Chinedum, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

According to a statement released by the commission, the arrest of Chinedum followed credible intelligence regarding his alleged involvement in internet-related offenses.

Among the items recovered from the suspect were one iPhone 11 Pro Max, one Redmi 12 android mobile device, two United States Navy identity cards bearing numbers: 100040041245 and 100010041159, one Mercedes Benz GLK, one HP laptop computer device, and several charms.

The EFCC noted that the suspect will be brought before a court of law as soon as investigations are concluded.
