AGS NEWS – Nicki Minaj has made history by breaking the record for the highest-grossing tour ever by a female rapper.

According to Touring Data, the Trinidadian hip-hop star achieved this milestone during her ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour, grossing a staggering $34.9 million from the first 17 shows, with 220,000 tickets sold.

Minaj also secured the record for the highest-grossing concert by a female rapper, earning $2.858 million at Madison Square Garden in New York on March 30, 2024.

Touring Data took to Twitter to announce Minaj’s accomplishment, highlighting her unprecedented success in the music industry.

Despite completing only 30 percent of the tour, Minaj’s earnings have already surpassed expectations, with projections estimating a total gross of $100 million by the end of the tour later this year.

Earlier, Minaj expressed her willingness to consider adding Nigeria to her tour itinerary following requests from fans.

However, it remains uncertain whether she will include Nigeria or any other African country in her tour.
