AGS NEWS – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has successfully retrieved N7.8 million belonging to the Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC), as confirmed by the company’s Managing Director, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha, during a briefing with journalists in Makurdi on Tuesday.
Asemakaha revealed that the EFCC recovered the funds from former officers of the company who were involved in corrupt activities.

He further stated that a draft cheque representing the recovered sum has been handed over to the company, with expectations of more funds to be reclaimed.
“The recovery marks a significant step in reinforcing the company’s integrity and fostering a culture of transparency under the leadership of Governor Hyacinth Alia,” stated the MD.
He commended the EFCC for its swift response, emphasizing the commission’s dedication to justice and the fight against financial crimes.
