AGS NEWS – Grammy-winning British singer Ed Sheeran recently shared in an interview with Hits Radio that Barbadian superstar Rihanna served as the muse behind his popular song, ‘Shape Of You.’
In his conversation, Sheeran praised Rihanna’s versatility, describing her as a beacon for songwriters. He revealed that when he penned ‘Shape Of You,’ he envisioned Rihanna as the ideal artist for the track.

‘Shape Of You’ debuted on January 6, 2017, as one of the lead singles from Sheeran’s third studio album, ‘Divide.’ The song later clinched the Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.
Ed Sheeran disclosed that he originally wrote Justin Bieber’s hit song, ‘Love Yourself,’ which had been turned down by multiple artists before Bieber took it on.
