AGS NEWS – Nigerian music star Davido, also known as David Adeleke, has resolved the breach of contract lawsuit filed against him by Brownhill Investment Company Limited, led by Amaju Pinnick, outside the courtroom.
In October 2023, Amaju Pinnick accused Davido of not fulfilling his performance obligations at an event despite receiving $94,600.

As a result, Brownhill Investment Company Limited filed a lawsuit against Davido, seeking N2.3bn.
However, the two parties reached an agreement to settle the matter amicably. As part of the agreement, Davido agreed to pay Brownhill Investments N30 million within seven days and perform live at the ‘Warri Again’ concert in October 2024.
The $94,500 previously paid to Davido by Brownhill Investments will be considered payment for his performance at the event.

The parties also resolved to withdraw any ongoing appeals and issued a joint statement confirming the settlement of all disputes related to the ‘Warri Again’ concert.
