AGS NEWS – The Nigerian Army has reported the successful elimination of four terrorists in separate ambush and raid operations carried out in Kaduna and Katsina states.

Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, the Director of Army Public Relations, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, highlighting that the operations occurred on Friday.

According to the statement, troops staged an ambush against terrorists in Kajuru Local Government of Kaduna State based on credible intelligence about the use of a particular route for logistics movement to support terrorists in Rijana Forest.

As a result, two terrorists were eliminated in the ambush, with troops recovering weapons and other items including AK-47 rifles, ammunition, motorbikes, and assorted paraphernalia.

In a similar operation, troops raided terrorists’ hideouts in Dutsen Kura, Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State, following actionable intelligence.

Two terrorists were neutralized during a fierce exchange of fire, and various items were seized from the terrorists’ den.
