Andrew Tate and brother detained in Romania following UK arrest warrant

AGS NEWS – Andrew and Tristan Tate, internet personalities known for their controversial content, are set to appear in a Romanian court following warrants issued by the UK for their arrest.

The brothers were apprehended by Romanian authorities on Monday evening based on European arrest warrants alleging sexual offenses in Britain.

Andrew Tate, aged 37, and Tristan, aged 35, have firmly denied all charges, as stated by their representative.

They were observed entering Bucharest’s Court of Appeal on Tuesday.

According to Romanian Police, the arrest warrants were issued by British authorities for the exploitation of individuals in the UK.

The Tate brothers’ representative stated that the court would decide on Tuesday whether to enforce the warrant, describing it as a surprising resurgence of decade-old accusations that have deeply unsettled the brothers.

The statement from their representative expressed the brothers’ firm rejection of the charges and disappointment at the revival of allegations without substantial new evidence.

They vowed to challenge the accusations with determination.

The allegations reportedly span from 2012 to 2015. In December, the Tate brothers, who hold dual UK-US nationality, were instructed by a Romanian court not to leave Romania after requesting to visit their mother in a UK hospital.

Romanian authorities are investigating the brothers for allegations of rape, human trafficking, and involvement in a criminal gang – allegations they deny.

The accusations involve the exploitation of women through an adult content business, allegedly operated as a criminal enterprise.

The indictment, published in June, named two female Romanian associates alongside the brothers, identifying seven alleged victims.
