AGS NEWS – Tragic news emerged from Enugu state as reports surfaced of an unidentified mother of three young children taking her own life.

The woman ran into oncoming traffic and was fatally struck by a vehicle shortly after her husband left her and their children due to financial hardships.

The incident reportedly occurred last weekend in front of Ogui Police Station in Enugu. Sources suggest that the woman, whose identity remains unknown, was battling with depression. S

he reportedly dropped her children off at the police station, removed her clothes, and ran naked into traffic, resulting in her death.

Upon investigation, the eldest child of the deceased revealed that their father had “got lost,” providing no further details about their family or residence, according to a police source.

In response to the tragedy, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, the wife of the Enugu State governor, announced a scholarship program for the three orphaned siblings, all under the age of seven.

Mrs. Mbah made this pledge during an impromptu visit to Ogui Police Station, where the children were being held in police custody.
