AGS NEWS – Yoruba Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, famously known as Sisi Quadri, has tragically passed away, as reported by his colleagues within the Yoruba film industry.
Oyebamiji, who celebrated his 44th birthday on December 25, 2023, was mourned by his peers, with Nollywood actress Abiola Bayo sharing the news on her verified Instagram account, expressing, “You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”

Tunde Yusuf, another actor, reflected on the transient nature of life, posting a picture of Sisi Quadri and conveying prayers for his departed soul, stating, “Everything in the world is according to the will of Allah, from Allah we have come and unto Him, we shall return. May God bless and rest your soul, bro.”
Regina Chukwu also extended her condolences to Oyebamiji’s family, recounting his recent struggle for life, and revealing a lesser-known aspect of his career, saying, “Most people don’t know but yes, I trained under him as a make-up artist on set for years.”
The late actor gained fame for his memorable role in the movie “Seniyan Seranko,” released on December 4, 2004.
He was also anticipated to captivate audiences in the upcoming film “Anikulapo: The Return of Spectre,” which premiered on Netflix today (Friday).

In a previous interview, Sisi Quadri shared insights into his journey into acting. He recounted concluding his primary and secondary education in Ore, Ondo State, before delving into cloth design for four years. Eventually, he pursued further education at The Polytechnic Iree.
His entry into acting was facilitated by his mentor, Toyin Olaiya (Alaga council), setting him on a path to stardom.
