AGS NEWS – A 27-year-old man named Fatai Sholola has been apprehended by the So-Safe Corps in Sango, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State for allegedly stealing and selling his sister’s husband’s car for N230,000.
This was confirmed by Moruf Yusuf, the spokesperson for the So-Safe Corps, in a statement on Saturday.
According to Yusuf, Sholola was stopped by officers during a routine patrol around Sango Plaza at 2 am on Friday due to his suspicious behavior.
Upon searching a bag he was carrying, they found car documents in his possession. Sholola failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for having the documents.

The State Commander of the So-Safe Corps reported that Sholola attempted to bribe the officers with N30,000, which they refused.
Further investigation revealed that Sholola confessed to stealing the car belonging to his sister’s husband and selling it to someone named Mallam Abdullahi Yahya for N230,000 in the Onibuku Area of Ota.
Sholola had been wanted for eight days before being intercepted by the corps officers.
He and the car documents found with him have been handed over to the Sango Divisional Police Headquarters for further investigation and possible prosecution.
