Sanwo-Olu approves work-from-home policy, implements transport fare reduction

AGS NEWS – During a live media chat on Thursday, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, revealed plans to provide relief to residents grappling with economic challenges.

He announced a 25% fare reduction for government-owned transport services and introduced flexible working hours for civil servants from levels one to 14, allowing them to work three days a week.

Sanwo-Olu also outlined initiatives to ensure affordable food access, including the establishment of soup kitchens across local government areas, Sunday markets with discounted rates, and food purchases and redistribution programs.

He disclosed plans for free childbirth services and health missions in all general hospitals for the next three months, benefiting over 50,000 women annually.
