AGS NEWS – Google is urgently addressing issues with its latest AI-powered tool for generating images, following complaints that it was excessively avoiding racial biases.

Users reported that the Gemini bot was producing images depicting a diverse range of genders and ethnicities, even when historically inaccurate.

For instance, prompts for images of America’s founding fathers resulted in pictures of women and people of color.

AGS NEWS reports that Google acknowledged the problem, stating that the tool was “missing the mark” and pledged to make immediate improvements.
