Suspended UNICAL dean’s phone contains 16 nude videos

Bwaigu Fungo, a forensic and intelligence analyst with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), disclosed in court that Cyril Ndifon, the suspended Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Calabar, forwarded videos sent by a witness known as TKJ to another number.

TkJ, a diploma of law graduate whose identity is protected by court order, accused Ndifon of demanding sexual favors in exchange for admission into the LLB program.

Fungo revealed that a total of 16 nude videos were extracted from Ndifon’s phone, with only three belonging to TKJ.

He also mentioned that one of the nude videos was sent on September 26, 2023, following a request from Ndifon.

During cross-examination, Ndifon’s lawyer, Joe Agi (SAN), questioned whether the videos were sent voluntarily. Fungo stated that based on forensics analysis, the act was involuntary.

Agi requested an adjournment to continue his cross-examination and applied for the Nigerian Correctional Service to provide adequate medical treatment for Ndifon.
