Former House of Representatives member, Shina Peller, has urged President Bola Tinubu to implement measures aimed at easing the hardships faced by Nigerians.
Peller’s call comes amidst a wave of protests across the nation spurred by escalating living costs and widespread suffering.
In recent demonstrations, women in Niger State obstructed the Minna-Bida Road, demanding government action to alleviate the prevailing difficulties.

Residents of Kano took to the Katsina-Kano Road to voice their discontent over the soaring cost of living.
In a statement issued on Friday, Peller implored the President to address the challenges confronting citizens.
He emphasized the necessity for Tinubu to prioritize creating a conducive business environment and combatting food insecurity.
Peller stressed the importance of safeguarding farmers’ welfare to mitigate food scarcity.
He reminded the President of the responsibility entrusted to him by the populace and urged proactive measures to improve their circumstances.
While acknowledging the complexities of governing a diverse nation like Nigeria, Peller underscored the need for leadership to inspire hope and foster peace.
He emphasized that food security is paramount and advocated for policies that ensure farmers’ safety and well-being.
