Ronaldo playfully states retirement plans in ten years despite turning 39 soon

Football sensation Cristiano Ronaldo has provided insights into his potential retirement from the sport during a recent event in Dubai.

The Al-Nassr forward, attending the Globe Soccer Awards, was questioned about his future plans and jokingly hinted at an imminent retirement.

Responding to inquiries about when he plans to hang up his boots, the 38-year-old initially teased, “The moment I finish, I don’t know, to be honest.”

Ronaldo playfully suggested a short timeframe before humorously stating, “Of course, it will be soon, soon I mean 10 years more. No, I am joking, I don’t know, let’s see.”

Currently playing for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, Ronaldo, who turns 39 next month, joined the club in a high-profile deal worth a reported £175 million per year in January last year, following the cancellation of his contract at Manchester United.
